Having purchased her first home in 1999, she has since bought and sold multiple properties of her own and knows first-hand the joys and benefits of homeownership and real estate investment.

After graduating from New College of California in San Francisco and getting her M.A. in Second Language Studies at the University of Hawaii, Jodi enjoyed a successful and satisfying teaching career, traveled around the world, and ended up in the lovely Bay Area. She considers herself blessed to be raising her children in the vibrant East Bay, where beauty and diversity in nature, people, and architecture abound.
 
Jodi’s volunteer experience includes tutoring children, teaching adult literacy, and working in a local women's shelter. Even today, she continues to engage in meaningful volunteer work. With each home transaction, Jodi and her team the Jodi Nishimura Group at Kai Real Estate donate at least $500 for each transaction to an organization of the clients choosing in their honor.
